This original Iraqi military “Bravery Medal” was awarded during the Desert Storm era under Saddam Hussein’s rule in 1991. The medal features a striking gold-toned starburst design with crossed swords at the center, along with the emblem of the Iraqi Army. It is suspended from a ribbon in the national colors of Iraq: red, white, green, and black.
